Our university accommodation arm, TS1 Students, is looking for an experienced, accomplished manager for our busy Middlesbrough office.

The ideal candidate will be dynamic and motivated and ready to lead a team of lettings negotiators to maintain and manage the department.

Reporting to the business partners, you will oversee the day to day running of the department while building strong relationships with our landlords and making sure that the TS1 team continues to be well-regarded.

What you’ll do

As anyone with experience of the industry will know, you’ll need to be a real all-rounder, and duties will range from ensuring all enquiries are responded to efficiently to managing social media and advertising campaigns.

You’ll be able to build strong relationships with third parties such as the university, student union and local council, as well as managing your own team, providing mentoring, training and guidance.

You’ll need a head for numbers too; the chosen candidate will be expected to report to the partners, ensuring financial targets are met, and liaise with landlords and investors to maximise their rental income.

What you’ll need

We’re looking for someone with bags of enthusiasm and relevant experience; of managing a team, or working in student accommodation and of property management. 

We’ll also need you to hold an ARLA (or equivalent) qualification, a UK driving license and have some knowledge of managing HMOs.

We’re also looking for someone with that extra Clarke Munro something; an excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport with landlords and tenants, highly organised and proactive and with strong leadership skills.

What you’ll get

Depending on your experience, you’ll receive an OTE of over £35,000. However, if you excel in the role and beat your targets, there is potential to exceed this.

Our new recruit will also receive a company car for attending client appointments.
